[T]he bride will begin to Hlambisa, i.e., give out to the members of the bridegroom’s kraal all the articles she has made, placing them in lots on the ground. After this she will make an attempt to run away again but will be stopped. Thereupon she will return to her hut followed by her girl companions. Should the groom’s people fail to touch her arm, she will run straight home and a forfeit must be paid to get her back.
