Cleanse

Quote

The Masai smear with fat the things coming from the hand of the smith -- spear (blade and shoe), sword, knife, razor-knife, ax, sewing awl, pincers, arrow points, branding iron, cowbells, large and small leg-bells, as well as various ornamental objects -- and likewise their hands, which touch these things -- in order to remove from them the uncleanness adhering to them from the blacksmith.
